Here we are, day 2 of our London tour!
We started the day by finding our way back to the Silicon Roundabout area, which is still the digital district of London. As we had a bit of time we jumped for a quick coffee and email check to The Barbican and then made our way to TechHub to meet with Iulia – the Community Programmes Manager. We get to know Iulia and TechHub when she submitted the space to our 50+ spaces coworking map of London. It was great that we had the chance to connect to such an experienced person and to learn more about the whole TechHub ecosystem. As these days we spend most of our time in Berlin it was great to learn from the source about a different model of shared office spaces.
We can write pages about TechHub. But to keep it short and if you don’t know TechHub (yet), it is THE space in London to gather like-minded people from the tech industry. The space provides startups with an environment where they can work and meet relevant people to grow their businesses. It is a global network with 7 offices all around the world.
We were very lucky to meet Iulia, as she is quite busy person and runs few things in the city. Through the meeting she few interesting questions based on her experience and raised important points to think about while developing the platform.
It felt great to be in such an inspiring tech environment, where you really feel like everything is possible! Our chat was so intense that we did not see how fast the time was passing by. It was time for us to go to our next meeting at the GreenHouse, which is on the other side of the city. We had no time to take a selfie, which means we will have to head back there at some point!
Once again, thanks Iulia for your feedback on COWORKIES!
