Bringing our Barcelona journey to a wonderful close @ESPAI BORN

Every good thing comes to an end they say. This is the case today with our last post about our Barcelona COWORKIES tour. During those 2 days, we felt very fortunate to be able to meet so many awesome people, with very different backgrounds and complementary visions and missions on coworking.

We ended up our trip at ESPAI BORN, a place for the creative minds. The last space we met was memorable for many reasons:

1/ We met someone like us. Indeed, we met Ben who is an entrepreneur  and one of the founders of ESPAI BORN and It was great to brainstorm with him and his colleague on COWORKIES. They gave us really awesome feedback!

2/ The space has a story we liked very much. ESPAI BORN is located in the center of Barcelona. From the outside, it looks like a small shop. But the moment you go down the stairs you find a very cozy coworking space, with authentic brick wall. It has 1 meeting room, 1 kitchen and a chill area. The funny thing about it is that  before, it used to be a bakery. We did our meeting in the former “oven” 🙂 I love how they transformed the space into a small creative heaven. You feel really good there and I love all the interior design details you can find if you look around.

3/ The space is also very active in gathering the creative community. ESPAI BORN is doing a lot of cool events one being very close to the principle of COWORKIES and called Loophole. The purpose during the night is to connect through creation. This is such a great idea! If you read this and find yourself in Barcelona, you should definitely try to attend one of those!

4/ ESPAI BORN is also home to a very innovative digital agency called Ben presented us the website and the concept behind it. I don’t want to tell you too much about it, I would rather let you play and enjoy the experience as much as we did. Just one thing, before opening the website, make sure your volume is on 🙂

Our meeting came to an end and we took Ben with us to do our traditional selfie! I hope you noticed the transformation of our faces along the way, from very red to a bit tanned in just 4 days:)

ESPAI and Coworkies selfie@Ben we are glad we met you and and we hope to see you soon in Berlin, in Barcelona AND on !
