Exploring “Coworking Milan” @ Startmiup

Our first day in Milan was a perfect mix of what coworking spaces have to offer. We were able to meet 3 very different types of communities. From Talent Garden, coworking campus with focus on education and corporate innovation to Atabaliba, the community of creatives to Startmiup, the tech hub in Milan.
What is so special about Startmiup is that it’s located inside Copernico, the innovative ecosystem able to bring together big companies in their closed offices and startups in the coworking area. Today, startmiup has more than 50 startups working from their location.

We met with Marina, the General Manager of the space, who took the time to show us around and share with us her expertise on Milan’s startup scene. It was a very interesting talk, we got to learn a lot about Milan startup ecosystem, influencers and we were also happy to share our COWORKIES journey with her.

She gaves us a very valuable feedback and we are glad to move forward with her on COWORKIES. Marina is now among our pool of initial users and her feedback on our alpha version (coming soon) will be super valuable in making the website useful for the needs of coworking spaces like Startmiup.

Work is work and after our meeting, we sat down in the coworking area as the “to do” list never shrinks by itself:). We even found a nice quote that we had to shared on our Facebook, because yes we could not agree more 🙂

The same night, Startmiup was hosting a very interesting event on how to do PR when you are a startup, unfortunately as our Italian is not yet perfect, we could not attend it. We heard the room was full! Big ups to Marina and her team for pushing forward the startup scene in Milan.

We know that you are all waiting for our Selfie, but unfortunately, we could not capture one with Marina. She was very busy with the preparation of the event and we had to leave. BUT it’s an EXCELLENT reason for us to go back there 🙂 So Marina, we will be back very soon !

And if you are interested to know more about startmiup, let Marina guides you through the space here (in Italian)

See you tomorrow, for a new day of the COWORKIES journey!
