Connecting people at CREC

Our journey to Barcelona has been very inspiring for us mostly because each space we visited was TRULY different. Interior Design wise but also community wise, we did not find spaces that compete with each other among the 12 we saw.

The 4th space we visited is called CREC.

It is located in a nice area called Poble-sec which is full of tiny streets leading to old factories and nice buildings. There, we met Marc, who is the founder of the space.

The moment we came in, I felt very connected to the building. Everything there is bright, spacious, clean, and light. It combines everything you need to work, meet people and feel good. At CREC people really have privacy, even though everything is open space. You have enough space between desks to work and talk without disturbing the people around you.

Marc welcomed us in the lounge area and we had a very nice chat about CREC and about COWORKIES. The feedback Marc gave us is very valuable to us and it really helps us making COWORKIES what it is today: a community platform build by the community for the community.

And the funny story is that during our meeting, I saw a familiar face, but I could not believe it. One of my former members at the Rainmaking Loft Berlin is actually sitting now at

Once our talk was over, we did a tour around the space. I was very seduced by the bright kitchen where people were sharing their lunch.
Cherry on the cake, there is a Therapy room where you can make coaching sessions and massage therapies. I love the idea!

We are now continuing our chat with Marc and we truly hope to have CREC on board!

Before leaving, we could not resist to the selfie temptation, even though our faces were getting more burned than before :))))

CREC and Coworkies selfieMarc thank you again for your time! We hope to see you on COWORKIES very soon!
