Cohesion, mixing art and business

After coworking made by real estate developer, after coworking made by non-profit, after coworking made by students, after coworking made by corporate, we are now heading to a coworking space made for art lovers.

We met Tuula, Founder of Cohesion and we sat down with her for a two-hours conversation about coworking, art, and evolution of work. After working for many years in the financial sector, Tuula decided to move forward and start something of her own. She founded Cohesion with the aim of bringing together business and financial professionals together in the creative industry.

The coworking space, which opened in 2015, is located on the top floor of a beautiful and centrally located building. The coworking space is beautifully arranged with several pieces of art: from paintings on the wall to sculptures and nice furniture. There is everything you need to cowork: dedicated desks, nice meeting rooms, a kitchen and a bright communal area where you can meet your fellow coworkies.

Speaking of which, the community at Cohesion is composed of small businesses and freelance that come together to work in a creative environment and support each other. We met few of the members: British guy selling French wine (Thirsty Bear) and a fashion designer doing a photo shoot for her brand. There are few events organized inside the space where everyone in the city is invited to meet and mingle with the members and guests. You can have a look at Cohesion’s Facebook page and subscribe to the next event if, like us, you are curious to discover more 🙂

We were touched by Tuula. She is such a lovely soul, who puts all her energy and time in making Cohesion a cozy and warm place to work from. She knows everyone, everyone knows her. I admire her passion and dedication and I felt grateful we met her during our journey. She is to me the light that gives the space such a nice atmosphere.

We ended our 2 hours conversation with a very nice selfie in the heart of the coworking space. We are happy to keep such a nice memory from our visit there! Thanks Tuula for everything you brought to us. You are a star.
