Berlin COWORKIES tour, here we go! Stop #1 Noize Fabrik

We have been quite silent on the blog last week and we truly apologize for it. SO many things are going on, it’s quite crazy 🙂 We are now back on track, ready to tell you stories for the next decade #funstuff.

Now that the intro is made, let’s dig to this specific story. Do you know the expression “the shoemaker’s son always goes barefoot”? Well, this very much applies to us. COWORKIES is based in Berlin and you guys might think that we know every coworking space around the city. Truth is, we don’t, yet.

We decided to change that and to launch a Berlin COWORKIES tour. The rhythm will be less intense as when we travel, but from now on and every week, get ready to discover the Berlin coworking scene! #YAY

Let’s start with the very first one we met: NOIZE FABRIK. We discovered that space thanks to Social Media. Dimitar was actively checking Twitter, when he saw one tweet from them. It was enough to start connecting. We exchanged few emails to setup a meeting and just like that we met Oliver and Marcus, the 2 co-founder of the space.

The whole concept of Noize Fabrik is about music passion! The space focuses on bringing together people from the audio industry. Oliver and Marcus gave us a tour of the space and we were quite impressed by the way it has been designed. The 500 sqm are composed of the coworking area at first and then the a recording Studios and the Event space. The cherry on the cake? You can watch artist live while they are recording. How cool is that?

Our chat with Oliver and Marcus was very much oriented on the music industry scene here in Berlin and we love the effort and work they put to make recording studio time more affordable to anyone. They bring together an inspiring community in a space where everything pushes you to listen, do or just watch music.

Of course, we discussed about COWORKIES and we explained how similar both our goals are: bringing together a community of like-minded people to foster collaboration. They agreed to have their page on our platform, which could not make us more happy!

Don’t miss their event calendar! They are doing so many cool things in music, film, get togethers and more. 🙂 Oh and if you are a freelancer, don’t miss the Freelance Friday, once a month, which is organized by one of Noize Fabrik member.

Thanks again Oli and Marcus for your time, we can’t wait to collaborate and connect you on COWORKIES to other general and music focused spaces from around the globe 🙂 Like Tileyard in London for example.

Oh and OBVIOUSLY, the traditional selfie! This time INSIDE the recording studio #toocool
