Artistic treasure named Blighty Arts

Meeting #3 of our second day in London! Follow us to Finsbury Park where we visited Nicola and her space: Blighty Arts.

We discovered them via Paul, the founder of the space, who registered his space on COWORKIES few weeks before our trip to London. It was for us the perfect occasion to meet his team and have a look around the space. When we entered Blighty Arts, I instantly found the place very charming.

The coffee, called Blighty Coffee, is lovely and serves delicious food and drinks. Nicola came to meet us there and we started to chat while enjoying a fresh coffee. We learned that Blighty Arts is way more than a coworking space. It’s an artistic building bringing together a coffee, a coworking space, an interior garden AND connecting the neighborhood to its space by organizing events or talks about art, music and film.

Nicola told us about her community, which is very diverse. They bring together artists, freelancers, startups and also local businesses. We told her about COWORKIES and how we can help her space to connect to an even wider network of people that can support her coworkers in their daily work.

We followed her afterwards around the space and even though from the outside you think it’s tiny, it’s actually quite big. There are 3 floors, 1 being the cafe and the 2 others being the shared work space + communal areas.

As the sun was shining that day, few coworkers were enjoying it outside, in the very nice interior garden. How cool is it to find such a nice garden in London, just for you!

We came back downstairs and Nicola recommended us to try the food. She mentioned she was behind the brownie recipe, so we decided to try it! Oh my! If you pass by Blighty Cafe, you HAVE to try the brownies! It’s the most amazing brownie we have ever had :)))))

We captured our visit there with a super nice selfie:
